A perennial tree related to folk medicine and also known by the names: tepescohuite, jurema preta, mimosa tenuiflora, mimosa hostilis, calumbi

Tepzacohit grows mainly in Central and South America in the countries between Brazil and Mexico.
The mimosa tree from which our oil was produced grew in the Land of Israel in Tomer's ethnobotanical nursery - Ethno Vibes .

It is believed that the bark and the fern-like leaves have many properties that are mainly used for cosmetic treatment of aging skin, skin wounds, ulcers and burns.

Despite its medical-cosmetic benefits, the tree is rarely used as a skin care ingredient in other parts of the world, which may make us wonder if it's something we should even try.

The attached article in the link explains everything you need to know about tepezcohuite, including the benefits, uses and side effects.

Interestingly, the Red Cross used tepazcohit bark powder as a treatment for more than 5,000 burn victims from the 1984 Mexico City gas explosion, due to the tree's skin healing and antiseptic properties.

Since the case in Mexico, researchers have studied its effects on wound healing more deeply. It is believed that tepazcohit contains compounds of tannins and saponins that encourage skin regeneration due to their antioxidant and antimicrobial effects.

Given that tepezcohuite is rich in antioxidants, lipids, and tannins that support skin healing and rejuvenation, it could theoretically have beneficial effects on other skin conditions as well.

Additional claims
Tepezcohuite has been used in traditional medicine to treat many health problems such as coughs, bronchitis, vaginal infections, stomach ulcers and pain.
The increase in skin care companies incorporating Tepzacohit in their products may stimulate interest in conducting additional clinical trials on the subject.
Until then, there is not enough research to recommend it as an effective treatment for skin diseases.
Avoid use during pregnancy.
No drug interactions are known.
