Creating a kamea (amulet)

Posted by entheogenic paths on

Creating a talisman can be a symbolic way to infuse an object with your personal intention, such as protective energy or a sacred blessing.

sanctified, from the word 'kiddush' or 'consecration' [root K.D.S.].

From Wikipedia:

Kiddush in Judaism is the remembrance of the holiness of the day ( Shabbat or holiday ) in a short ceremony . Kiddush is done by a special blessing that is usually said over a goblet of wine (or grape juice ), and alternatively also over a piece of bread and today's Kiddush also over Khmer Medina (a drink that is also drunk for pleasure).

Anyway, to me it simply means to cleanse and bless something and charge it with purpose.

A skull is just a skull, but when it is consecrated it becomes the home of spirit and intuition.

Ashara is just a carved wooden statue or trunk until it is consecrated to be a vessel that channels a deity or a portal to aliens. A candle is only a candle, until it is anointed with oil and the purpose of its spell is spoken aloud.

To advance the sanctification process, the more the object is actively used for the purpose for which it was created, the more power it will exert and it will simply 'be' that holy vessel.

There are many ways to sanctify and bless as there are many witches.

 Basic endowment guidelines

It can be as simple or as complex as you want it to be.

It can take five minutes or an hour.

You can do this at midnight, on a full moon at your altar with a glass of wine and burning incense while reciting Aramaic mantras or a song of praise, while your long and loose hair or wig spills over your bare nipples in the candlelight...

Or you can do it in the morning, on your kitchen marble with some water, salt and oil in a bowl

Step 1: Cleaning

Clean the object physically if possible with soap and water or alcohol and herbs for purification (lemon, lemon grass, pygmy, moss, cypress, rosemary and other coniferous disinfectant herbs). While cleaning the object, think cleaning thoughts, or say out loud "I clean you" , or sing a hymn or a purity song or a washing spell (pagan or grandmother's it doesn't matter as long as you have a rhythm).

Step 2: Conversation

Time to oil all things.

You don't need fancy oil, olive or sunflower oil works great. Essential oils also work great, just dilute them a little with vegetable oil like almond, grape seed or jojoba before. You can also use aviation ointments to anoint with them, depending on what you are sanctifying and for what purpose.

Dip your index finger in oil/ointment and from the center of the object slide your finger up once. Return to center and swipe down once.

ta da! anointed!

You can also anoint a seal shape that you created for the same purpose or other seals and symbols that suit your work.

It works well with candles, jewelry, skulls and bones, bottles, boxes, wands, staffs, statues, trophies, candlesticks, etc.

Stage 3: Rebirth

- Organize a black cloth or a piece of leather/velvet and wrap the object.

It will serve as a grave and womb. Your ritual candy is about to undergo a magical initiation. His old self will die so that his new self as a ritual tool or talisman can begin.

- Open the cloth and welcome the object as a new child.

Sprinkle soil on it, sprinkle plant water on it and pass it over a candle flame and through the plume of incense smoke - and bless it with the elements of earth, water, fire and air.

Step 4: Loading

Now you assign a name and/or seal (if it hasn't happened yet) to the object and charge it with its intended purpose. It is better to invent one so that the object can be completely adapted to your needs and the specific purpose of the object. A protection ring and a tarot deck will not have the same purpose.

Hold the object in your hands and imagine your intention flowing into it. Focus on introducing your desired energy and purpose. You can also speak loudly or in dragon whispers statements related to your intention.

Below is an example:

"I charge you a ring!

In the elements of the earth, water, air and fire

In order to protect my body,

My soul and spirit hurt every time I wear you,

That I may be invisible and impenetrable when my enemies send an attack,

May I be safe when I travel in this world or another, and you, send me a warning when I'm in danger by sending an itch to the finger you're sitting on.

I oblige you to do as I wish. Yes please!" Amen!!

Simplifying the endowment

You don't feel the need to do something so complex for a candle, a bottle of wine, a talisman or a bag of plants?

Don't worry, keep it simple. Sprinkle water on the object, anoint it with oil. Then whisper a prayer, mantra, talisman or seal of intention so that the breath from your prayer touches him.

execution way

I consecrate new beeswax altar candles by rubbing a little oil on them and lighting them while saying:

"I consecrate you in the name of leaviel, in oil and flame may the candle live."

Or something else that flows to you.

With the new candles I consecrated, I can immediately enter into a ritual or reading/writing/intuitive creation.

post Scriptum

There are charms and amulets that are meant to be temporary, so they are changed several times a year.

There is a limit to how many wind traps can capture. They are meant to be burned and regenerated. Remember this when creating protection or blessing charms for a room, house or person. Don't make them too nice or elaborate, as you'll have to get rid of them and make another one later.

Another thing to remember, the power of the talisman lies in your intention and the energy you put into it. Trust your intuition throughout the process, and customize the talisman to fit your unique needs and beliefs.
